I don't look at it as building a relationship through the watchtower but as building a relationship with like minded people. I discovered that like it or not I have more in common with JWs than any other religious group.

by Space Madness inare their any former atheist/agnostic on here who reverted to christianity or a belief in god.
i became an atheist back in july and it was the most unfulfilling depressive period of my life.
i'm now starting to rebuild my relationship with god and i'm already starting to feel a lot better.

I Plan To Attend A Meeting and I Have a Question
by Space Madness inbesides the bible, songbook, kingdom ministry, and draw close to jehovah book, are there any other books i need in order to attend the tuesday/wensday/thursday night meeting.
do they still use a book for the theocratic ministry school and is it the same one from 7+ years ago?.

Why did God/Jehovah/Jesus create Viruses and bacteria that can kill humans and animals?
by Jon Preston ini know this topic has been spoken about but i havent seen an official thead about it.
so theists why did god create these and why does he co tinue to allow them?
are they from the talking snake, satan?.

Space--if the bad viruses and bacteria were pnly bad after adam sinned, why did he create them in the first place?
That's irrelevant. No one knows why every bacteria or virus exist today let alone millions of years ago. The point is you're assuming that bacteria and viruses were always bad despite the fact that many of them are beneficial.

Perhaps the human body was immue to bacteria and viruses when it was perfect. Today some bacteria and viruses are good for us, this could indicate that they were all beneficial in the beginning and that the harm could be due to our imperfect bodies rather than the bacteria and viruses themselves. When viewed this way God didn't create any harmful bacteria or viruses, they just because harmful after Adam sinned and our bodies were no longer perfect.

It's lame and super boring. The tone and oversimplification of the material makes it seems as if it's targeted towards 5 year olds. I also find the slow speech by the narrator condescending and very annoying.

The whole premise of your "research" is flawed. DMT IS NOT RELEASED DURING SLEEP! Furthermore THERE IS NO EVIDENCE THAT DMT IS PRESENT IN HUMAN BRAINS AT ALL. Every drug user who errornously thought DMT was present in their brain studied every possible way to utilize it naturally. You are not the first person to think of this. This research has been done to death and hasn't yield anything. You personally don't even know enough about DMT or the brain to understand any possible discoveries (I'm basing this on the fact that you thought DMT was present in the brain). If you just want to get high be my guess but you desperately need to educate yourself on DMT.

How does getting high off DMT relate to your "sincere scientific interest"? And what exactly do you mean by "it's just chemistry"? If you were to take cyanide that would "be chemistry" too, would it not? Comparing coffee, tea, and sugar to hallucinogens is just silly. You act as if different chemicals don't have different affects on the brain.
